🇨🇦 Canadian Company
Coffee or Tea is a social dating application developed and operated by CoffeeSoft Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada. This Safety and Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs your use of the Coffee or Tea mobile application and any related services (collectively, the “App” or “Service”).
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and private environment for our adult users. This Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, and outlines the safety standards and rules of conduct all users must follow.
⚠ ADULTS ONLY — Coffee or Tea is strictly an 18+ platform. Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to create an account or use this application under any circumstances.
1. Age Restriction & Verification
Coffee or Tea is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 years and older. We enforce this requirement actively and without exception.
1.1 Age Gate at Registration
During the registration process, all users are required to provide their date of birth. Our system automatically calculates the user’s age from this entry. Any applicant who does not meet the minimum age of 18 years will be denied access immediately and will not be permitted to create an account.
1.2 Continued Enforcement
- Age information is verified at the point of account creation.
- Users found to have provided a false date of birth will have their accounts permanently suspended.
- We reserve the right to request additional verification at any time.
- Any account suspected of being used by a minor will be suspended pending investigation.
2. Child Safety Standards Policy
🔒 Compliance Notice — This section constitutes CoffeeSoft Inc.’s publicly available standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), as required by the Google Play Store Child Safety Standards Policy for Social and Dating applications.
2.1 Zero Tolerance for CSAE
CoffeeSoft Inc. maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This prohibition is unconditional and applies to all users, content, communications, and interactions occurring on or through the Coffee or Tea platform.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent account termination and reporting to relevant legal authorities:
- Any content, image, video, text, or communication that sexually exploits or abuses a minor.
- Any attempt to solicit, groom, or engage a minor in sexual conversation or activity.
- Any sharing, distribution, uploading, or storage of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Any attempt to establish unauthorized or inappropriate contact with minors through the platform.
- Any content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies child sexual abuse or exploitation in any format.
2.2 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — Detection & Response
CoffeeSoft Inc. self-certifies that we take the following actions to address CSAM on our platform:
-
Automated image screening: All images uploaded to Coffee or Tea are automatically screened using the Google Vision API for explicit, inappropriate, and potentially harmful content before they are displayed to any user.
- Content flagged by automated screening is immediately suppressed and queued for human review.
- Images that cannot be verified as compliant are withheld from publication pending review.
-
Immediate action upon knowledge of CSAM: Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM on our platform, CoffeeSoft Inc. will without delay:
- Remove the material from the platform.
- Suspend or permanently ban the account associated with the material.
- Preserve relevant records as required by applicable law.
- Report the material to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, or to the relevant regional authority, in accordance with applicable Canadian and international law.
2.3 Compliance with Child Safety Laws
CoffeeSoft Inc. self-certifies that Coffee or Tea complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
